Family-Owned. Lexington Local.
Owner Jeff Butler has spent more than four decades in the restaurant business. Big Tuna's name comes from his son William, a former championship wrestler nicknamed “Tuna” — and the family nickname stuck.
Today the restaurant carries that family-first spirit into a neighborhood gathering place built around bold Southwestern flavors, lump-charcoal cooking and food made for sharing.
Real fire gives the food a layer of flavor you simply don't get from a conventional grill.
